How often do you ship from Houston to Venezuela?

Guanta Express has two departures a month from Houston, Texas, direct to the ports of Maracaibo and Guanta, Venezuela, on two dedicated vessels: geared multipurpose cargo vessels with two 60-tonne cranes, 120 tonnes combined (currently the MV ROIBEIRA and the MV HERBEIRA). Depending on your cargo, we also have access to other vessels.

What kind of cargo do you ship to Venezuela?

We specialize in oilfield equipment and heavy machinery, and we also ship 20' and 40' containers and breakbulk cargo.

Do you offer turnkey service?

Yes. We take care of the whole project, from origin in the U.S. to destination in Venezuela: your cargo goes through our facility in Humble, Texas, and ships from Houston to Maracaibo or Guanta.

Can I see my cargo before it ships?

Yes. Our online customer portal lets you view your inventory at our facility and at the port, with photos, documents and dimensions, and send us your shipping instructions.

How do I track my shipment?

Where does the equipment ship from?

Guanta Express operates a yard in Humble, Texas, just outside Houston, where it receives and prepares new and pre-owned oilfield equipment from across the U.S. (Texas, Oklahoma and other states) before it ships to the ports of Guanta and Maracaibo.

Can you ship large drilling rigs?

Yes. We ship drilling and workover rigs, and our upcoming shipments include two 1,500-horsepower rigs, the largest Guanta Express has ever sent to Venezuela.

How does Guanta Express support Venezuela's oil industry?

Guanta Express provides a U.S. logistics corridor for rebuilding Venezuela's oil industry. In January 2026, Venezuela reformed its Organic Hydrocarbons Law, opening the sector to private and foreign companies, and U.S. OFAC general licenses authorize the supply of U.S. goods and services to the sector. Operators and service companies are now bringing rigs and wells back online in Lake Maracaibo and the Orinoco Belt. Guanta Express links Houston, the center of the U.S. energy industry, with the ports of Maracaibo and Guanta to deliver the equipment they need.
